In 2020, Valdine took a bold step. She turned her love for beauty into something real – Vals Beauty Hub. The name “Vals” comes from her name, Valdine. It’s a personal touch that shows how much of herself she puts into her work.

Valdine didn’t just want a regular beauty business. She wanted to create something different.

“I always felt that beauty services should come to you, not the other way around,” Valdine says with a smile. “Why should someone have to travel when they want to feel beautiful? Beauty should meet you where you are.”

Born From Real Life Needs

The idea for Vals Beauty Hub came from Valdine’s own life. As a busy person herself, she knew how hard it could be to find time for salon visits.

“I remember trying to squeeze in nail appointments between work and family time,” she recalls. “It was so stressful that it took away the joy of getting my nails done.”

That’s when it clicked – beauty services should reduce stress, not add to it!

Growing Step by Step

Valdine started small, doing nails for friends and family. Word spread quickly about her skill and her caring touch. People loved that she came to their homes.

“My first clients were my biggest supporters,” Valdine shares. “They told their friends, who told their friends. Before I knew it, my phone was ringing off the hook!”

By 2022, what started as a small dream had grown into a trusted name in Gatineau and Ottawa. Vals Beauty Hub wasn’t just a service – it was becoming a movement that changed how people thought about beauty care.
